The power of our per­sonal sto­ries to link us in com­mon recog­ni­tion and com­mon pur­pose is immea­sur­able. Once linked, our ‘com­mon heart and soul’ becomes an unstop­pable force in the world… for our mutual good.

Directed by film­maker Jeremy Vin­cent Vranich, a doc­u­men­tary is being pro­duced that will por­tray the power of com­mu­nity and global part­ner­ship to solve seem­ingly insur­mount­able chal­lenges. The film also tells the story of the Uru people’s strug­gle to not only sus­tain life, but to dream and work for a “happy life for our chil­dren… and our chil­drens’ children”.

The spirit of ser­vice demon­strated by a small group of peo­ple on two sides of the world will be cel­e­brated through this film. Its pur­pose is twofold: to inspire oth­ers to com­pas­sion­ate action and to raise funds and aware­ness for clean water access in Uru, Tanzania.

 Film­ing began in Uru in Jan­u­ary 2008 and will include the 2009 “Climb for a Cause” fundrais­ing trek up Mt. Kil­i­man­jaro. All pro­ceeds from the film’s dis­tri­b­u­tion will go towards the cre­ation of eco-​​friendly, sus­tain­able clean water solu­tions in Uru.
